Swedish air navigation service provider ACR recruits new Safety Manager

STOCKHOLM, December 16, 2019

The private Swedish air navigation service provider ACR Aviation Capacity Resources recruits Peder Andersson as new Safety Manager.  Peder Andersson will enter his position in March 2020. Peder Andersson will in addition to his job as Safety Manager contribute with his vast expertise in the establishment of a new business area, communication and navigation services, CN services, for airports in Sweden and in the EU

ACR is Europe’s first private ANSP, currently operates air navigation service provision at 16 Swedish airports, the largest being Stockholm-Skavsta. The goal is to establish ACR as a leading player in the European market.

“We have seen a growing need for CN services from airports in both Sweden and in Europe. We have recently won a major procurement that includes CN services in addition to air navigation services”, says ACR’s CEO Wilhelm Wohlfahrt.

ACR has decided to establish a new business area within CN services with the aim of becoming a leading provider in Europe.

“The recruitment of Peder Andersson gives us vast competence and expertise in the area of aviation safety, technology management and knowledge of effective ATM solutions. We constantly develop our business model to make ACR more attractive for airports and existing customers. We are very much looking forward in getting Peder to our team”, says Wilhelm Wohlfahrt.

Peder Andersson, will start his position on March 9, 2020. Peder Andersson, most recently worked for Swedavia as functional area manager for Technical Aviation Services (CNS) with a focus on aviation safety, quality and communication. The role of functional area manager for Technical Aviation Services (CNS) has also included responsibility for Swedavia's CNS management system and internal consultancy in aviation safety. Peder has extensive experience from the industry and has previously worked in addition to Swedavia, including Saab Systems and the Swedish Transport Agency.
