ACR Internatinonal (Aviation Capacity Resources International AB) is a Swedish company within ATS training. It is managed by Acting CEO Mohtasim Hussain, former instructor at Emirates Aviation College and executive vice president Wilhelm Wohlfahrt.
Presently ACR International is building a Centre of Excellence for RSAF (Royal Saudi Air Force) in Riyadh.
This project is running and consisting the latest 3D tower simulator, radar simulator, that are available on the market. We provide instructors training and two ICAO courses 051-054, TWR and Approach Radar and Non-Radar. These courses are recognised by ICAO and Eurocontrol.
The Centre of Excellence will have the capability to provide the Royal Saudi Air Force with training within the all the topics that is needed for a modern training organisation. The centre will be able to perform, basic training, refresher training for active controllers in the environment that they are currently working in, emergency training, instructors training, training management training, English language training, aviation English training. All training will be according to ICAO standards and will be quality assured by ACR International.
Radar simulators
The centre will be equipped with two modern radar simulators with a total of eight trainee position. The Radar Simulators will consist of two different types of airspaces. One will be a fictitious airspace to be used for basic training and the second airspace will be a semblance of the appropriate airport and centres where the simulator will be based. This airspace will be an exact replica of the current operations airspace and would be used for advance and on the job training for active controllers.
Tower Simulator
The centre will also be equipped with two modern tower simulators. Like the Radar Simulators, the Tower Simulator will consist of two different types of airspaces. One will be a fictitious airspace to be used for basic training and the second airspace will be a semblance of the appropriate airfields where the simulator will be based. This airspace will be an exact replica of the current operations airspace and would be used for advance and on the job training for active controllers.
ACR International will be present at the Centre of Excellence for three years. ACR International will provide two ATC Training Specialists, who will be based at the Centre, with the task of building up the training organisation, training structure and various training programme. ACR International will also during these three years, have two ATC Instructors based at the centre to support the RSAF Instructors in their tasks.
