ACR takes its Single European Sky Certificate extended to six years

Swedish Transport Agency to renew the certificate previously issued for the ACR. The certificate was issued under Article 7.3 of Regulation (EC) No 550/2004 * for ACR as a provider of air navigation services in the attached certificate specified conditions.

* European Parliament and Council Regulation 550/2004 of 10 March 2004 on the provision of air navigation services in the Single European Sky.

As CEO, I am very impressed by all the colleagues' work and commitment since its inception March 1, 2011 when the ACR took the ATS units in Västerås, Växjö and Örebro airports. Six year extension of our Single European Sky (SES) Certification is truly a sign of strength and a mark of quality for the company, says CEO Wilhelm Wohlfahrt

ACR and Skyguide initiate cooperation

Skyguide Swiss Air Navigation Services Ltd and ACR Aviation Capacity Resources AB have agreed to form a partnership.

The partnership will strengthen the corporate position to embark on the European Air Traffic Services market. Sweden, like several other countries in Europe, has deregulated and will deregulate ATS markets.

Lappland Aviation Academy, certified as a training academy for Air Navigation Services
We are proud to announce that Lappland Aviaiton Academy has recieved its Certification concerning training for Air Navigation Services. From 14th of January 2009 Lappland Aviation Academy is a certified training academy. The first private ATS Academy in Scandinavia. See encl copy.

- 220 degree Tower Simulator

Every day 93'000 flights are starting from approx. 9'000 airports
Enclosed animation shows all scheduled flights over a 24h period. Every day 93'000 flights are starting from approx. 9'000 airports. At all time there are between 8'000 and 13'000 airplanes in the air.

LENGTHY RECESSION IS NOW MAIN CHALLENGE, by IATA
The outlook for the airline industry has changed dramatically since the last forecast was put together three months ago. Spot oil prices have more than halved to around $50 a barrel but, following the near collapse of the banking system, the deepest recession since the early-1980s is now expected in 2009.

Lappland Aviation Academy selects UFA’s ATTower® ATC Simulator
Arvidsjaur Municipality in Sweden has selected UFA’s Air Traffic Tower and Radar training simulator for the Lappland Aviation Academy (LAA).

The installation of the simulator is planned till week 4 2009.

Lapland Aviation Academy
Latest layout for the new ATC training center. At this stage we added three class rooms for 32 students totally. The tower simulator room will be 80 m2, radar room 35 m2 and psuedo pilots room 55 m2. Total area for the training of ATC will be approx 650 m2. Please see enclosed drawing (pdf.).

Lapland Aviation Academy
Development of the new ATC training academy in Arvidsjaur continues and enclosed pdf.docs are the latest drawings. Meetings between architects, Arvidsjaur Airport Management, CAA and ACR International will take place next week to finalise both sqms for the training facilities and other needs.
